Functional Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Functional Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and create detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

Execute test cases and document results in accordance with established standards.

Identify, log, and track defects using appropriate tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to resolve issues.

Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability.

Ensure compliance with quality assurance processes and standards.

Prepare test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
