Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced senior leader to drive strategic business initiatives and operational excellence at Wacoal Singapore. This role will work closely with Japan headquarters and internal stakeholders to ensure strong business performance, alignment with corporate objectives, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of business strategies that align with corporate goals to achieve sustainable growth and expand market presence
- Analyze market trends and evaluate new business opportunities to enhance competitive positioning and drive innovation
- Prepare, submit, and manage the annual corporate budget, including detailed reporting and communication in Japanese to support financial transparency
- Monitor financial performance, forecasts, and key business metrics to inform strategic decision-making and optimize operational outcomes
- Deliver regular operational updates and performance reports to Japan headquarters to maintain alignment and transparency across teams
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal company policies to maintain compliance and mitigate risks
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficiency in Japanese language for business communication to facilitate effective collaboration with Japan headquarters and stakeholders
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, business-related humanities, languages, cultural studies, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of retail management experience in the intimate apparel industry, including significant senior leadership experience is mandatory
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and financial management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures
