Job Summary
Supporting the CEO to lead investment strategy, portfolio growth, strategic partnerships, and governance initiatives across Southeast Asia. Drive value creation through principal investments, active ownership, board leadership, and institutional relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities across multiple sectors to drive portfolio growth
- Monitor portfolio company strategy execution and capital allocation to maximize investment returns
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, founders, corporates, and strategic partners to enhance deal flow and collaboration
- Provide governance oversight and strategic guidance by serving on boards and investment committees of portfolio companies
- Lead fundraising, capital raising, and investor relations activities to secure and deploy capital effectively
- Support innovation, technology adoption, and sustainability initiatives across the portfolio to enhance long-term value
- Represent the firm with business associations, universities, industry bodies, and international networks to strengthen institutional presence
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proven investment and operating experience across Southeast Asia
- Strong track record in private equity, investment banking, family offices, or principal investing
- Extensive board and corporate governance experience
- Deep network among business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs
- Demonstrated ability to create long-term shareholder value through strategic investments and partnerships
