Overview:
Inuka is working with a leading global investment manager to recruit a Managing Director, Private Credit based in Singapore. The role sits within an established emerging markets credit platform investing across corporate and infrastructure debt, with a strong focus on senior and senior-secured opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead origination and execution of private credit investments across emerging markets.
- Identify and assess opportunities across corporate and infrastructure debt.
- Lead transaction structuring, underwriting, due diligence, and negotiations.
- Build relationships with borrowers, sponsors, banks, DFIs, and other sourcing partners.
- Oversee portfolio performance, credit risk, and ongoing borrower engagement.
- Contribute to investment strategy, capital deployment, and growth of the platform.
- Represent the investment team with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in private credit, private debt, investment banking, or a related investment role.
- Strong track record in originating and executing private credit transactions.
- Deep experience across emerging markets, particularly Asia and/or Africa.
- Strong credit underwriting, structuring, and risk assessment capabilities.
- Experience investing in corporate and/or infrastructure debt preferred.
- Strong commercial judgement and senior stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
