We are looking for a MANAGING DIRECTOR to oversee our restaurant matter, including all staff, budgets, and operations of the local business unit.
MANAGING DIRECTOR responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise.
Responsibilities:
- Deep knowledge of restaurant management and business process management
- Oversees the company's operation and identify operational leaks and apply strategies for improved processes
- Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Continually develop and improve systems and process to meet business needs and requirement
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- Act as the figurative head of the organization when communicating with stockholders, government entities and the general public
- Provide company-wide leadership
- Implement strategic plans by working with senior stakeholders
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
Requirements and skills:
- At least 6 years of senior management experience in F&B industry
- Fluent mandarin in both writing and speaking is compulsory to communicate with our staffs from China
- Have extensive management experience in the Chinese food industry and is well versed in Chinese culture
- Multinational experience is highly preferred
- The ability to work under pressure and handle stress
- Familiarity with restaurant management software
- At least a bachelor's degree in any field
- Overseas working experience is a plus.
