About ISUZU MOTORS ASIA LIMITED (IMA):

A Global Japanese Automotive Manufacturer with an office in Singapore is embarking on an evolving path and expanding role. The Singapore office assists the Japan Head Office in managing the Group's interests and exposures in the ASEAN region, India and Middle East.

There are many opportunities for staff to be involved in cross department and regional projects. And as part of the Group's initiative towards greater adoption of technology and boosting work efficiency, the Singapore Office offers a chance to take part in exciting tech projects that can have impact across the Group.

The Company is looking for a Managing Director to lead their growing team. As the leader of the Singapore Office, the expectations and challenges are high but will be very rewarding and exciting for high performers.

We are looking for a Managing Directorwith:

  • Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent Japanese language skills to communicate with HQ's management in Japan (Minimum N1 proficiency)
  • Extensive experience as a Managing Director or in a similar role.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to excel in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in regional automotive sales

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understand the Isuzu Way and IMA's directions to manage orders/ promote Isuzu Parts.
  • Maintain relationships with HQ and customers through constant communications.
  • Attend to irregularities in operations and establish action plan(s) for future.
  • Developing and executing business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.
  • Reporting to the board, providing market insights and strategic advice.
  • Developing and implementing business plans to improve cost-efficiency.
  • Maintaining positive and trust-based relationships with business partners, shareholders, and authorities.
  • Overseeing the company's business operations, financial performance, investments, and ventures.
  • Supervising, guiding, and delegating executives in their duties.
  • Ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated.
  • Develop and groom Executives in the company.
