Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level coverage and origination leadership for large and complex corporate clients, including regional champions, multinational corporates, and sponsor-backed platforms.
- Originate, structure, and execute bespoke financing and advisory solutions, working across corporate lending, structured finance, capital markets, and investment banking products.
- Drive multi-product, balance-sheet intensive transactions, often involving cross-border elements, multiple currencies, and complex stakeholder dynamics.
- Partner closely with product specialists, risk, legal, and senior management to shape transaction structures, underwriting decisions, and capital allocation.
- Navigate global and regional credit, risk, and governance frameworks, exercising strong commercial judgment while maintaining discipline.
- Contribute to franchise strategy, including client prioritisation, sector focus, and origination direction.
- Act as a senior mentor and culture carrier, supporting the development of senior bankers within the platform.
Requirements
- Established Managing Director (or equivalent senior leadership) experience within a Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, or integrated CIB platform at a global or top-tier regional bank.
- Demonstrated track record of originating and closing complex, high-value transactions beyond single-product execution.
- Deep experience engaging C-suite clients (CFOs, Treasurers, Sponsors, Boards) on strategic and balance-sheet matters.
- Strong understanding of risk, structuring, and credit dynamics, with the ability to operate effectively within global governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to work across geographies and product teams in matrixed, high-expectation environments.
- Strategic, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in ambiguity with limited precedent.
- High level of discretion, maturity, and credibility at senior stakeholder level.
