Managing Director
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead our Club's operations, drive business growth, and ensure exceptional hospitality. You will manage daily operations, develop membership and events, lead the team, and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage group and membership events, enquiries and related functions.
- Lead, motivate and develop the team to deliver high standards of service and maintain a positive working environment.
- Manage, coordinate and execute special events and promotions to enhance the Club's reputation and business performance.
- Engage with guests and members to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, and handle enquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee daily Club operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling and compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Train, mentor and develop staff to enhance their skills and maintain high standards of service.
- Monitor budgets, revenue and profitability, and implement strategies to maximise revenue and control operating costs.
- Oversee membership operations and develop initiatives to improve customer engagement and retention.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Pub or Club Manager or in a similar management role.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits and club/membership operations.
- Experience in managing events, memberships, budgets and operational performance.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
Salary: S$10,000 - S$16,000 per month
