Managing Director ASPAC cum Regional Business Manager Baking ASPAC

We are looking for an experienced executive leader in the Enzyme space. Over the last five years the existing Regional Director has established a healthy growing presence for AB Enzymes in the ASPAC region, with a 15 person team coordinated out of the head office in Singapore.

The highly motivated Managing Director will be expected to continue the profitable sustainable growth of the business, raising the company profile within major markets and customers, and continuing to lead the team. In addition, this role will embrace the role of Regional Business Manager Baking Enzymes ASPAC.

.Serve as the representative of AB Enzymes for the Region Asia/Pacific (not including China), authorized to oversee and approve local business transactions while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

.Build and foster a growth-oriented culture embracing the diversity in the team.

.Manage the regional office in Singapore including people management tasks

.Expand strongly the AB Enzymes Baking business in the region and be responsible for the strategy implementation

.Proactively manage the enzymes business in ASPAC. Work closely with global marketing and product management functions regarding industry strategy and approach to the market

.Closely work with Global Key Accounts team supporting to manage large key accounts locally

.Lead the regional Baking technical service team and the Baking Application Centre

.Providing oversight to ensure that projects are managed effectively to achieve good internal and customer communication

.Identify and implement new business opportunities

ABOUT YOU

Required qualifications and skills:

.10 years working experience in the Baking or Bakery Ingredients industry

.A bachelor or masters degree in food technology or business administration or law

.Proven track record of sales and business performance in a similar business

.In depth knowledge and local contacts in the Baking industry

.Financially numerate - comfortable with P&L's, costing systems, variance analysis, etc.

.A demonstrable track record in leading departments and ability to demonstrate outstanding delivery in all aspects of supply chain management

.Fluency in English

.Job requires frequent travel (50%) in the region and to Germany AB Enzymes office

.Builds great teams and attracts strong people to work for him/her

.Ability to handle the stresses and pressures of senior leadership

.Strong communication skills -verbal and written -formal and informal influencing skills also essential

.Confidence to make tough decisions. A strong personal stature
