Your key roles &responsibilities include:
- Supporting and coordinating overseas offices of Asia-Pacific in the business area of Japanese and Non-Japanese Corporate Banking.
- Responsible for setting up business Strategy, business plan and conduct profit management for the offices in Asia-Pacific region.
- Building and maintaining the management of office in the region and to comply with local regulatory of each country in Asia-Pacific region.
- Communicating with offices in this region, other overseas regions and Japan for the promotion of the Japanese and Non-Japanese Corporate Banking business.
- Responsible of branch networking and related matters.
- Formulation of business strategy in the region
- Promoting the business to help the Branches achieve their targets.
- Preparing and submitting reports to managements in Asia-Pacific and Japan (Head office) in both English and Japanese language.
What you should have:
- A Bachelors degree.
- At least 10 years of experience in banking industry and corporate finance.
- Strong understanding of a wide range of banking products is required.
- The ability to work in a team as well as strong verbal and written communication skills are attributes which will help the candidate perform well in this role.
- Business-level proficiency in both the English and Japanese languages will be advantageous as you are required to communicate, read and understand as well as respond and present in these two languages to management in Asia-Pacific and Japan(Head office). This includes report writing and business promotion activities such as negotiating.
- Strong understanding and affiliation to Japanese financial industry with relevant network will be advantageous.
