We are currently recruiting a Managing Consultant with industrial hygiene and decontamination background to join our Liability Portfolio Management and Remediation (LPMR) team in Singapore. It is expected that the selected candidate will be primarily supporting project delivery and opportunities pursuit for decontamination services, as part of our sustainable asset retirement / Decommissioning, Decontamination and Demolition (DDD) services. The candidate may also be required to support across our broader range of services such as Safety and Sustainability Operations, Merger and Acquisition, in Singapore and within Asia Pacific. This is an opportunity for a consultant to advance their career in a global environmental/social leader that aims to lead the field in sustainability consulting.
ROLE PROFILE:
To support the successful delivery of ERM projects and objectives by:
Managing and coordinating planning, execution and reporting of our decontamination projects
Developing, implementing and maintaining proactive health and safety, environment and quality management program at all project sites
Building effective working relationships with clients, ERM project team and subcontractors
Meet business financial targets, overall project budget and schedule, client satisfaction/expectations, and internal and contract requirements
Leading or supporting preparation or technical and commercial proposal, as well as business development efforts
Proactively support continuous development of sustainable asset retirement / DDD services
Demonstrate the drive and ambition to learn and grow across a wide range of service areas and regions
QUALIFICATIONS:
5-10 years of experiences in managing and supporting industrial hygiene assessment and/or industrial decontamination, particularly within the chemical / pharmaceutical industries.
Experiences in planning and supervising decontamination activities, validating cleaning procedures and maintaining documentation
Experiences in field and contractor management, preferably with working knowledge on workplace health and safety, as well as waste and hazardous material management
Certified Industrial Hygienist or Registered Industrial Hygienist (preferred)
Relevant training on contamination control or Good Manufacturing Practices cleaning for pharmaceutical cleanrooms (or equivalent)
Relevant tertiary qualification (Science or Engineering degree)
Able to multitask, work collaboratively in team and coach/mentor junior staff
Be conversant in basic digital tools and project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
