Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously enhance standardised warehouse and logistics policies, SOPs, and work instructions across all sites.
- Ensure alignment of processes with corporate objectives, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish clear operational guidelines covering:
Warehouse Processes
- Inventory control, storage, and material handling
- Inbound/outbound operations (receiving to dispatch)
- Warehouse layout, bin coding, and system transactions
Logistics Processes
- Shipment planning, transport mode selection, and cost optimisation
- Incoterms, customs compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Freight cost control, service provider management, and transit risk/insurance
- Enforce consistent implementation of HQ policies and standards across all sites.
- Establish and conduct audits to ensure compliance, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
- Monitor site performance and support operational improvements, including resolving key issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, Etc)
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proficiency in SAP or other warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
