As the Vertical Planning & Operations (Strategic Partnerships) Manager, you will be instrumental to define competitiveness of our supply quality and lead to build measurable impact of the performance. You will heavily leverage your commercial acumen to identify high-value opportunities within key strategic accounts and design the operational roadmaps to capture them.
You'll also be acting as a main point of contact for the local implementation of global operational innovations and provide analytical support in order to identify new opportunities in the market. You are an expert at interpreting and actioning strategic business goals, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional team projects and aligning them toward strict outcome goals.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Planning & Prioritization: Lead project prioritization and planning as well as setting the relevant KPIs and motivating the team to follow through.
- Commercial Opportunity Identification: Utilize sharp commercial sense to evaluate marketplace dynamics, identify strategic account growth areas, and unlock new revenue or supply streams.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Champion complex cross-team projects, aligning diverse department goals to achieve singular, high-impact outcome metrics.
- Stakeholder Management: Use your communication and relationship skills to coordinate with senior stakeholders to get buy-in and resource commitment.
- End-to-End Ownership: Bring a history of owning projects and a relentless attitude in driving these through to completion.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Experience: 6–7 years of sales, operations, strategy, or project management experience required, ideally with a focus on strategic partnerships or account management.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business and commercial sense, with a proven ability to spot and capitalize on key strategic account opportunities.
- Project Governance: Exceptional ability to manage cross-team projects, steer cross-functional collaborators, and consistently shoot for aggressive outcome goals.
- Analytical Polish: Strong problem-solving, logical, reasoning, and analytical skills coupled with marketplace knowledge and a high level of operational savvy.
- Influence & Communication: Strong communication skills with fluency in English & Mandarin. Ability to influence the organization including senior stakeholders.
- Mindset: Having a can-do attitude, being very detailed-oriented , innovative, adaptable , and heavily results-driven.
It's Great If You Have
- Industry Background: Experience in Internet, E-commerce, technology or travel.
- Technical Savvy: Working knowledge of SQL/AI tools
- Entrepreneurial Drive: Passionate about data, building things up from scratches
- Experience across both startup and larger company environments is a plus
