Job Summary
Urban Paint Service Pte. Ltd. seeks a skilled General Manager to lead daily operations, drive business growth, manage teams, ensure project quality, and maintain strong client relationships across residential painting projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of painting projects across HDB flats, condominiums, and landed properties to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction
- Manage and supervise project teams, including painters and site supervisors, to maintain high performance and adherence to standards
- Ensure all projects comply with quality standards, timelines, and safety regulations to deliver reliable and safe outcomes
- Develop and implement business strategies to increase sales and expand market presence in Singapore's residential painting sector
- Lead client communications, prepare accurate quotations, and coordinate project schedules to enhance customer experience
- Monitor financial performance by managing budgets and controlling costs to achieve profitability targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations to uphold operational integrity
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage timely procurement of materials, ensuring project continuity and quality
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field (mandatory)
- Minimum 3-5 years of managerial experience in construction, painting, or related industry
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of painting processes, materials, and site operations to support effective project oversight
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Excel and Word to manage reports and communications
