Manager (Tunnel M&E)

Job Description and Responsibilities:

As Manager (Tunnel E&M), your duties including responsible for all E&M aspects of the TBM operations, conveyor system and bored tunnelling works (Works) including coordination, planning, execution, monitoring, budgeting, controlling, etc. and other tasks allocated from time to time associated to the Works. The general scope of works shall include but not limited to the following:-

. Attend all meetings directed by the Contractor, coordinate and liaise with relevant parties including the Employer, consultants, sub-contractors, etc. to ensure the project requirement are met

. Lead, brief and guide the E&M team, including implementation of the health, safety, environmental and quality standards into planning and execution of plant and equipment works

. Advice and implement utilities connection for the worksite such as electrical power connection, distribution, etc.

. Advice and plan appropriate work procedures related to all plant and equipment works including but not limited to TBM and conveyor system assembly, launch and dismantling

. Plan and prepare work sequencing including interfaces with shaft works, cross passages, adits and tunnel final fit out works

. Plan and implement programme/ schedule for TBM and conveyor system maintenance strategiesPreparation of programme/ schedule for all other plant and equipment including maintenance strategy, repair and supervision to ensure all plant and equipment in good working condition

. Setup and prepare necessary documents related to plant and equipment such as quantity recording, workshop diary, certificates, etc.

. Support in assessment of construction risks including development and implementation of mitigation measures

. Identify issues and propose improvement, good practice, standard processes and procedures for effective plant and equipment management.

. Other duties as assigned by superior.

REQUIREMENT (E.g. Qualifications, Certifications, Experience) :

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
• Min 12 years hands on site experience in bored tunnelling operations with minimum 10 years experience in managing tunnelling works with contract value of more than S$200 million.
• The experience must include in EPB TBM
• Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings and create drawings by AUTO CAD
• Familiar with EPB TBM tunnel facilities such as Multi Service Vehicle, Tunnel conveyor system, tunnel drainage, various mobile crane & gantry crane operation.
