Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Total Rewards Manager, with Benefits focus, to join our dynamic team in driving our total rewards strategy forward.

The Total Rewards Manager plays a critical role in shaping and delivering benefits programmes that support the organisation's Total Rewards strategy. This position focuses on designing innovative benefits offerings, ensuring operational excellence, and aligning initiatives with broader compensation and talent objectives to attract, retain, and engage top talent.

Key Responsibilities

Benefits Strategy and Design

  • Review and recommend innovative benefit programmes that differentiate the organisation as an employer of choice..
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to benefits programmes to ensure competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organisational goals and Total Rewards framework.
  • Analyse market trends, benchmark data, and employee feedback to continuously improve benefits offerings.

Communication and Engagement

  • Develop and deliver clear, engaging communications to educate employees on benefits programmes and changes.
  • Ensure benefits-related policies and updates are accessible and accurate on internal platforms.

Benefits Operations and Vendor Management

  • Provide direction and support to Shared Services for administration of benefits programmes, including enrolment, claims resolution, and vendor coordination.
  • Manage escalations related to benefits issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with benefits providers and brokers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality service.
  • Lead RFP processes for benefits vendors, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and governance standards.

Compliance & Policy Governance

  • Manage benefits-related policies and data, in alignment with Total Rewards governance standards, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Analytics & Market Insights

  • Conduct data analysis on compensation and benefits trends to provide actionable recommendations for maintaining market competitiveness.
  • Leverage analytics to monitor programme effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

Compensation Projects

  • Engage in compensation review and performance management processes as and when required.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with strong focus on benefits strategy and operations.
  • Experience in large, complex organisations with diverse business streams; hospitality industry experience is advantageous.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of benefits best practices, market trends, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present information effectively to employees and management.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • IHRP certification is an advantage.
