Manager, (Technical Underwriting) Corporate Business Department

Job Summary

Responsible in providing technical advice, quotation, underwriting and complying with company/group guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

:Technical Underwritin

• gTo assess and underwrite all line of Business but mainly for Property and Engineering Lines of Business (LoB)
• .To underwrite and review all renewals and new businesses using the rating tools provided by Allianz and to monitor rate adequacy and rate change across the operational accounts
• .To calculate retention and accumulation of risk based on the Company's capacity and underwriting authority grid
• .To work closely with the Supervisor(s) on all referrals. To undertake all necessary preparatory work as guided and directed
• .To provide quotations and technical advice to marketers on all LoBs as and when required
