- Responsible for aircraft and engine technical matters
Job Description
- Support/ Manage aircraft and engine technical matters, for valuation, deliveries, redeliveries and lease restructuring, such as:
- Providing oversight on maintenance events
- Budgeting and advising on technical cashflow for maintenance events forecasting
- Reviewing / evaluating lessee workscope, upgrades and modifications evaluation
- Conducting aircraft mid-term inspections
- Reviewing aircraft technical records
- Managing maintenance reserves – MR rates review, reimbursement, calculation and invoicing
- Coordinating aircraft transitions
- Provide Technical support for commercial activities and act as first point of contact for the technical departments of customers
- Support/ Lead procurement of OEM, 3rd party maintenance and technical service providers
- Liaise with OEMs to keep current on product issues, maintenance costs, in-service issues and actions
Requirements
- Sound understanding of aircraft maintenance programs, aviation authorities regulatory requirements, airline operations, aircraft operations, aircraft technical records and the aviation industry.
- Minimum with Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Aerospace Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in the Aviation MRO industry. Candidates with Airframe Base/ Line Maintenance qualifications and programme management experience preferred
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong oral and written communication / presentation skills
- Good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to work independently and/or with a team
