Manager / Team Leader (IC)

IC Development

. Assist management team in IC roadmap and product definition specification.

. Manage a team of IC designers with responsibility to bring design to production.

. Perform feasibility studies of new project including cost and schedule estimation.

. Perform as project manager to lead project execution.

. Lead IC team to perform design documentation and RTL design.

. Lead IC team to perform design verification, building testbench and testcases.

. Lead IC team to perform logic synthesis, formality checking and post place and route static timing analysis.

. Lead IC team to perform top-level integration, floor-planning, place and route

. Lead IC team to perform DFT and ATPG.

. Lead IC team to perform failure analysis and design ECO.

. Lead IC team to support backend activities for tape-out

. Perform design code review and maintain design quality.

. Support system team to perform system validation through FPGA prototyping.

. Support QA and production team to handle IC production issues.

. Manage third party design house or backend support.

. Support IC design infrastructure like IT, tools, software, design server etc.

. Study and keep up knowledge of industrial spec, e.g. USB, Power Delivery, Audio, I2S, I2C etc.

Technical/Customer Support

. Provide technical support to key customers and field engineers.

. Customer design-in support.

. Prepare training material and conduct training, if needed.

Requirements

. Degree/Master's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

. 10-15 years experience in the area of IC design.

. 5-10 years experience in managing an IC design team.

. Working experience from design to silicon is essential.

. Knowledge and working experience with wired and wireless connectivity technology are desirable.
