The incumbent will operate in a lean team structure and is expected to perform full
hands-on operational finance work, including JV postings, invoice issuance, asset
capitalisation and preparation of schedules, while supporting coordination and business
partnering functions.
What You'll Do
- Lead the full spectrum of GL activities, including month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate accounting books, ensure compliance with accounting standards and support statutory reporting
- Review GST and corporate tax workings and submissions
- Manage internal and external audit engagements and ensure proper documentation and controls
- Provide technical accounting advice and partner with business teams on new projects and commercial initiatives
- Analyse monthly financial results, track key financial KPIs, and support budgeting and forecasting
- Identify and drive process improvements, system enhancements, and finance workflow setup
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Accountancy/Business from a reputable University
- Preferably 5-7 years of related work experience in the Big Four audit firms and commercial experience
- Adaptability and a growth mindset, with the ability to rotate across varying job scopes and roles
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, hands-on, resourceful and with an eye for details
- Effective team player, highly motivated and independent
- Experience in financial modelling or investment decisions desirable
- Independent self-starter
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Power Point and Word
