Job Description

Position Summary

The incumbent is responsible for leading and overseeing supply chain planning activities across wafer fabrication and backend operations. This includes taking full ownership of production wafer planning, supporting NPI product transfers and ramp-up plans, and ensuring supply continuity to meet customer demand. The role serves as a critical bridge between engineering, NPI, and production teams, and will work closely with the Senior Director, Global Supply Chain to build a resilient and data-driven supply chain function.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the production wafer planning process, ensuring full handover and continuity from the existing team.
  • Collaborate with the NPI team on product transfer and ramp-up planning, ensuring seamless handshakes between engineering requirements and production schedules.
  • Support the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process by aligning demand, supply, and operations in collaboration with the Sales team.
  • Manage Fab and backend supplier planning to ensure supply continuity and meet customer demand.
  • Oversee capacity management to optimize throughput and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
  • Identify potential supply disruptions and recommend contingency and risk mitigation plans.
  • Drive continuous process improvement through data analytics, automation, and planning system optimization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of supply chain planning experience in the semiconductor industry, with specific exposure to Fab planning, backend supplier management, and capacity planning.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wafer fabrication and backend operations.
  • Experience supporting NPI product transfers and production ramp-up activities.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and programming is an advantage.
  • Exposure to Advanced Planning Systems (APS) is an added advantage.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, and sales teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
