Responsibilities
The Strategy & Planning team sits within the CTO Office and works cross-functionally to drive planning processes and operational excellence across the Technology Group. We are looking for a highly organised and structured individual with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to drive progress across multiple workstreams.
As Mediacorp accelerates its AI agenda, this role will also help shape and operationalise the organisation's AI strategy — translating it into concrete plans, business cases, and execution across teams. We are looking for someone who is AI-native in how they think and work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the strategic planning process, working with different teams across the Technology Group to ensure work plans align with business priorities
- Assist in evaluating new opportunities with financial projections, market research, data analysis, and business case development
- Plan and implement strategic initiatives and keep projects on track with close tracking, risk management, stakeholder collaboration, and follow-through on key actions
- Scan the market for emerging AI technologies, tools, and vendors; provide recommendations on where to invest or experiment
- Support business cadence by maintaining initiative trackers, defining and tracking performance metrics, and preparing updates for operating reviews
- Assist with budgeting and cost management processes, ensuring alignment across teams
- Conduct analytical deep-dives and summarise insights and findings to support decision-making and identify improvement opportunities
- Support internal staff communications and engagement initiatives efforts to foster alignment, transparency, and a strong team culture
Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in Strategy & Planning, strategy, or operations, ideally in a technology, media, or consulting organisation
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify and present complex information
- Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- AI-fluent: advanced usage of generative AI tools in daily work
- Familiarity with the AI landscape — understanding of current model capabilities, enterprise AI patterns, and emerging use cases in media and technology
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
