Develop digital economy strategies to keep pace with emerging tech developments such as AI.
Develop mid to long-term goals and strategic objectives for the economy digitalisation & AI plans.
Guide the planning process to translate strategies into actionable workplans.
Lead cross-division reviews/analysis of greenfield opportunities and ideas for Digital Economy, including development of strategies, plans and programmes in these new areas.
Conduct research, sense making and forecasting of trends relevant to the infocomm and media landscape by synthesising research and data from multiple sources.
Identifying and evaluating technology, market and regulatory trends and opportunities.
Work with internal divisions and relevant government/public agencies on matters relating to digital economy, technology trends and developments, including carrying out economic, statistical and/or policy assessments to facilitate evidence-based policy and strategy formulation and decision-making.
Secure and manage strategic resources to enable the implementation of strategies.
Job Requirement:
5 years of relevant experience in strategic planning work.
Prior experience in a public sector organisation would be advantageous.
Prior experience in tabling proposals and communicating with senior stakeholders (e.g. senior management, Political Office Holders) would be advantageous.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to prepare analysis, assessments and presentation in a clear and concise manner.
Possess excellent critical thinking and good judgement.
