About Tasek Academy and Social Services

You will report to the General Manager for all matters relevant to this role.

Tasek Academy and Social Services is a registered charity and social service agency committed to uplifting children, youth, and families from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Through an integrated portfolio of programmes spanning early childhood, primary development, youth leadership, arts, sports, and social enterprise, Tasek works to break cycles of disadvantage and build life trajectories grounded in confidence, capability and community.

The strategic office drives institutional direction, funding strategy, external relationships, and high-level communications. It coordinates cross-organisation initiatives and ensures that all divisions remain aligned to Tasek's mission and long-term vision.

Role Overview

The Programme Manager, Strategy Office, is a high-impact generalist role designed for a driven, capable individual who can operate with equal fluency across strategy, grants management, communications and partnership development. You will work at the intersection of institutional planning and external engagement, supporting senior leadership in building the organisation's strategic position and stakeholder relationships.

The ideal candidate combines structured analytical thinking with strong written communication skills, an understanding of the social service and charity funding landscape in Singapore, and the energy and initiative to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. This role offers a genuine opportunity to shape the direction of a growing, mission-led organisation.

Key Responsibilities

A. Strategic Planning & Organisational Development

. Support the development and articulation of Tasek's multi-year strategic planning

. Prepare strategic documents, board papers, and concept papers for leadership.

. Track and monitor progress against strategic milestones across divisions, surfacing recommendations for leadership attention.

. Coordinate cross-divisional initiatives and special projects that cut across programme, enterprise, and administrative functions.

. Support the development of frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures that enable scale and organisational consistency.

B. Communications

. Assist in the development of Tasek's communications, including annual reports, newsletters, stakeholder updates, and organisational collateral.

. Coordinate media relations, press materials, and public-facing announcements as required.

. Assist in grant management and funder reporting.

C. Partnerships & External Engagement

. Prepare partnership proposals, memoranda of understanding, and briefing materials for partnership discussions led by senior leadership.

. Assist in the maintenance and stewardship of Tasek's network of relationships, ensuring regular engagement and alignment with organisational priorities.

E. Coordination & Governance Support

. Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support, including managing workflow, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-through on strategic priorities.

Job Requirement

Qualifications

. Bachelor's degree in any field.

. 4 years of working experience.
