Job Summary

We are seeking a Manager, Sourcing Intelligence and Governance to join our team in the Corporate Procurement.

This role is to support the CPO and Regional Procurement teams in reports (purchasing, cost savings, etc), process standardization, and documentation.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyse purchasing data to understand the category spending pattern/nature and identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost optimisation. The category includes metal (steel/copper alloys/aluminium alloys/stainless steel/ etc), resins, secondary process (plating, powder coating, machining) as well as purchased items such as fastener, plastics parts, etc.
• Monitor and prepare management reporting on consolidation and cost saving progress.
• Define requirements and work with IT team to automate analysis reports and/or process as required to facilitate the analysis/reporting of purchasing data, cost saving initiatives/reports.
• Define and standardisation of sourcing system, process, system and documentation requirements and provide guideline for global implementation at sites/regions.
• Conduct e-bidding events for Corporate spend.
• Any other duties as and when assigned by Superior.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree, preferably in supply chain management or engineering
• Minimum 5 years working experience in purchasing or sourcing with good knowledge in category management (such as steel, copper alloy, etc) and/or IT hardware (servers, storage, networking equipment, PCs and accessories), software license, SaaS, cloud services, security solutions and other IT solutions, purchasing/sourcing process is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skill, leadership and communication skill is required
• Strong software skill such as SAP (including development and UAT), Excel and Prompt Engineering is an advantage.
• Project management and cross-functional experience especially with Finance/IT is preferred.
