Roles and Responsibilities
- Book Acceptance Process enhancement / Problem solving: Identify the issues preventing smooth booking acceptance from a frontline office perspective. This includes root causes analysis and driving solutions to completion. Specifically, the role requires a deep understanding of the standard booking acceptance process in the container shipping industry, enabling the identification of vulnerabilities unique to ONE's systems, improving them, and translating those improvements into concrete guidelines-thereby enhancing the overall accuracy of bookings.
- System and Data analytic of the booking: Need to have a strong understanding of how booking system / customer service especially for documentations / actual operations works, and how the data will be generated and showing it to the customers (Particularly for e-Commerce and other digital touchpoints) so that we can find the problem and solutions without affecting the other side of the job. Additionally, the role involves implementing the identified solutions into actual booking operations and, as a member of the GHQ team, ensuring that these solutions are fully and clearly communicated as definitive instructions to regional headquarters and further down to country office level without any omissions.
- Stakeholder Management: The role requires a strong ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, both within your department and across the countries, to align everyone toward a common business goal. he capabilities described above are required for the following key responsibilities.
- Establishing and enforcing ONE's acceptance criteria for various cargo types, including dangerous goods (DG), general cargo, and special cargo.
- Conducting regular monitoring of compliance and performance related to these criteria.
- Project Management: Must be able to manage the progress of multiple projects simultaneously and ensure their successful completion. In addition to improving existing processes, the role requires the proactive ability to independently identify issues, thoroughly investigate their root causes, and resolve them effectively.
Requirements
- . Minimum 10 years of industry experience
. At least 5 years in Customer Service and 5 years in container business operations
. Minimum 3 years of managerial experience
. Strong communication skills
. Proficient in data extraction and data analysis
