Who we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven and client-focused Manager/Senior Manager, Property& Casualty (P&C) to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client service, driving renewal retention, identifying growth opportunities, and building long-term client relationships.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial Property & Casualty insurance, with technical expertise in Financial Lines (including Directors & Officers Liability, Professional Indemnity, Cyber, Crime and Management Liability) and/or Marine/Cargo insurance. You will possess a sound understanding of clients business operations and risk exposures, enabling you to develop tailored insurance solutions, provide trusted risk advisory services, anddeliver value to clients across a broad range of commercial insurance needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional who enjoys developing business, advising clients on complex risks, negotiating with insurers, and contributing to the continued growth of a specialist insurance practice.

The appointment title and compensation package will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, experience and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development initiatives by proactively identifying, pursuing and securing new opportunities, working closely with insurers to develop competitive and tailored insurance solutions.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients across specialty insurance lines, with a focus on Financial Lines and/or Marine/Cargo.
  • Lead the end-to-end renewal process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant placement, policy administration and documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and claims matters, coordinating effectively with insurers and internal stakeholders to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, developing a deep understanding of their evolving business operations and risk exposures.
  • Collaborate closely with insurer partners to negotiate competitive coverage terms and achieve optimal placement outcomes for clients.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships through cross-selling and upselling of relevant insurance solutions.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping, policy administration and compliance with regulatory, company, and operational requirements.

What makes you stand out

  • Ideally 8-10 years of experience in Property & Casualty and/or Specialty Lines particularly in Financial Lines and/or Marine/Cargo within the insurance or broking industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Financial Lines and/or Marine/Cargo products and placements.
  • Degree holder with relevant insurance qualifications, including BCP, PGI, and ComGI certifications.
  • Proven success in client management, business development, and portfolio growth.
  • Strategic and commercially minded, with the ability to balance relationship management, business development, and operational excellence.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Team leadership experience would be a strong bonus.
  • This role is open to candidates who are authorized to work in Singapore and do not require work pass sponsorship.
