The Corporate Communications (CC) division at A.STAR showcases the organisations R&D collaborations and outcomes, maintaining its visibility in a fast-paced media landscape. We communicate how our discoveries translate into meaningful outcomes for the public, industry, and scientific community through a dynamic, multi-channel approach.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team, where they will contribute to devising and implementing integrated communication strategies for ASTARs research entities. This role involves forging robust partnerships between corporate communications and A.STAR's research arms to drive impactful communication initiatives

aligned with our mission of fostering economic growth and enriching lives in Singapore. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be instrumental in engaging with the media to bolster their understanding and endorsement of Singaporean innovation.

The ideal candidate for this position possesses the essential qualities required to navigate relationships within large and intricate organizations like A.STAR: adept communication and writing skills, sharp critical thinking, a proactive approach, adaptability to thrive in a dynamic

environment, and a knack for problem-solving.

This role presents ample opportunities for growth and development across diverse communication domains, including digital media, branding, internal communications, and content planning.

Key Responsibilities

.Liaise with A.STAR research entities to uncover impactful stories and provide consultation on corporate communications guidelines for branding, media and social media, VIP visits and engagement

.Provide integrated publicity strategies for key campaigns in research, innovation and enterprise

.Craft and edit publicity materials for various platforms

.Manage corporate communications assignments across departments within A.STAR, and with A.STARs stakeholders


.The ideal candidate will have at least 4 to 6 years of experience, and can demonstrate hands-on competencies in corporate communications, public relations, digital content creation or journalism

.Have a good understanding of the multi-channel media landscape

.Self-motivated, curious, resourceful and a good team player

.Excellent communicator with strong writing and presentation skillsets, as well as people engagement skills
