What You Will Be Working On
- Use data analytics to identify high-risk taxpayers and conduct audits on their compliance with GST rules and regulations.
- Preparing reports and submissions on audit findings and recommending actions to be taken.
- Educating taxpayers on the correct GST treatment and new GST initiatives.
You will have the opportunity to contribute towards enhancements and continuous work improvements by:
- Providing regular feedback/ innovative ideas to improve taxpayers compliance and streamline operations.
- Participating in projects, applying knowledge of relevant technologies (e.g. RPA, GenAI & data analytics) or methodologies (e.g. behavioural insights & design) to further enhance compliance and processes.
What We Are Looking For
- Degree in Tax, Accountancy or Business preferred.
- Knowledge in GST and/or at least 1 year audit experience will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Good time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Logical, organised and systematic in handling and analysing information/data.
- Strong analytical skills with capability to question, probe and analyse.
- Resourceful and able to work independently in a team environment.
