Job Description

Job Purpose
< div>Reporting directly to the Regional Head of Marketing & Sales, Asia Pacific with secondary dotted line reporting to the Regional CEO, this role is responsible for the driving and successful management, coordination and delivery of the various regional sales and growth initiatives and agenda, monitoring key cross-functional initiatives and ensuring execution consistency in line with the regional, global and Group strategies.

Approximately 80% of the role focuses on sales program management and responsibilities, including steering strategic initiatives, enabling performance improvement and ensuring compliance and governance across the Marketing & Sales organization. The remaining 20% of the role functions as Chief of Staff to the Regional CEO, supporting the preparation of Regional Management Board meetings, key presentations, strategic reviews and priority initiatives (including agenda setting, minute taking, synthesis of insights and coordination across senior stakeholders).

Key Responsibilities

As Manager, Sales Project Management, the key tasks include:
. Responsible for the management, coordination and delivery of programs/initiatives and monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective actions and escalations where required
. Prioritize and submit program plans and methodologies across a range of key projects
. Develop appropriate plans to ensure effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programs/initiatives
. Identification of risks and implementation of mitigation actions and resolutions in a timely manner
. Periodically re-evaluate and adjust goals, ensure alignment with concurrent projects and support implementation of program results
. Present to senior management a structured analysis providing solutions to manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects
. Analyze business processes, identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility and recommend new/ alternate approaches
. Cooperate with the business change manager or equivalent on the transition to the new business as usual position
. Advise on technical/ business process topics to ensure proper understanding and enhance the effectiveness of significant activities
. Administer an effective governance structure to support implementation of program management plans
. Ensure targeted training measures on relevant project management topics and tools

As Chief of Saff to the Regional CEO, additional key tasks include:
Executive Office Support
. Prepare agenda, materials and consolidated reporting for Regional Management Board meetings
. Capture meeting minutes, track action items and ensure timely follow-up across stakeholders
. Coordinate input for Global Management Board or Global Divisional updates (BRM) involving the Asia Pacific region

Strategic Support for the Regional CEO
. Special projects, cross-functional initiatives and business reviews
. Consolidate analyses, synthesize insights and prepare strategic briefing notes
. Act as the point of coordination between the Regional CEO, regional functions and country leadership

Presentation & Communication Development
. Create high-impact presentations for internal and external audiences (e.g. townhalls, board reviews, conferences)
. Translate complex topics into clear, concise and business-relevant storylines
. Prepare talking points, key messages, communication packages and stakeholder briefing content

Stakeholders
. Influence others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures
. Develop strong, trusting relationships with business leaders across DHL
. Cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g. external service providers/consulting partners (as required)
. Advise key stakeholders on processes, systems and tools
. Regional CEO, Regional Head of Marketing & Sales, Regional Management Board, Country Managing Directors and Heads of Sales. Regional Sales & products teams

Qualifications & Key Requirements
. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
. At least 2-3 years with a general understanding of the intricacies of the logistics/freight forwarding business
. Strong communicator in English, fast-learner, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment engaging with multiple stakeholders at the same time, details-oriented and meticulous, structured, open-minded, creative and skilled in MS Powerpoint (familiarity with other multimedia tools is an advantage).
