Broad outline of the Role
The Manager in Sales is responsible for achieving order book and revenue targets by managing and expanding the customer base, executing sales plans, and supporting ongoing business operations. The role emphasizes operational excellence and tactical execution, with a growing focus on leveraging AI-enabled tools and data analytics to enhance sales effectiveness

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor s degree and or or equivalent experience. MBA or equivalent preferred. 3-7 years of enterprise sales or account management experience

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute sales plans to achieve assigned order book and revenue targets, focusing on both new and existing customers.
  2. Utilize AI-enabled tools (such as prompt-based generative AI and AI-driven CRM features) to support market research, analyze customer data, and prepare sales proposals.
  3. Develop tailored propositions for customers, using AI-generated insights where available to refine offerings and improve engagement.
  4. Analyze customer feedback and market data using available analytics tools to better understand customer needs and expectations.
  5. Present data-driven insights at internal and external meetings to support business development, leveraging AI-generated reports as appropriate.
  6. Execute account action plans for assigned accounts or regions, using AI-supported forecasting tools to inform planning.
  7. Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries, utilizing AI-driven CRM features to track and manage customer interactions efficiently.
  8. Monitor competitor activities and market trends using analytics platforms, with AI support for trend identification where feasible.
  9. Maintain and update sales pipelines in Salesforce, using AI-enabled suggestions and automation features to optimize processes.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and prioritize key opportunities, using real-time data and AI-supported dashboards.
  11. Continuously update knowledge on products, competitor offerings, and emerging technology trends in sales, including new AI tools relevant to the function.
  12. Participate in upskilling initiatives and pilot programs to experiment with new AI tools and share learnings with the team.
