Job Description
Our client is a global technology and manufacturing organisation with operations across multiple international locations. As part of its continued growth and focus on operational excellence, they are seeking an experienced Manager, Quality Management System (QMS) to lead the governance, standardisation and continuous improvement of its Quality Management System across global sites.
Global QMS Governance & Harmonisation
- Lead corporate-wide QMS governance and ensure consistent implementation across global manufacturing sites.
- Drive the harmonisation and standardisation of quality procedures, work instructions and best practices.
- Establish scalable quality systems that support business growth, operational efficiency and execution excellence.
- Facilitate cross-site benchmarking and sharing of quality best practices.
ISO & Regulatory Compliance
- Manage ISO certification requirements across multiple sites, including ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
- Maintain certification readiness and ensure continued compliance across the organisation.
- Coordinate certification, surveillance and re-certification audits with external certification bodies.
- Ensure quality systems provide clear and auditable evidence of process control and effectiveness.
Internal Audit & CAPA
- Develop and implement risk-based internal audit programmes across global sites.
- Standardise audit methodology, governance and reporting.
- Drive timely and sustainable closure of audit findings.
- Lead CAPA governance, ensuring effective root cause analysis, corrective actions and recurrence prevention.
Quality Documentation & Process Control
- Lead the development, review and control of corporate quality procedures, work instructions and standards.
- Ensure quality documentation supports both operational requirements and audit compliance.
- Strengthen alignment between design, engineering, manufacturing and quality processes.
Training & Quality Capability
- Develop quality and compliance training programmes based on audit findings, CAPA trends and identified capability gaps.
- Support standardisation of relevant operator and IPC certification frameworks.
- Strengthen quality awareness, process discipline and consistent execution across sites.
Customer & External Audits
- Lead preparation and engagement for key customer, certification body and regulatory audits.
- Partner with site teams to maintain strong audit readiness and improve audit outcomes.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
- Drive risk assessments to identify systemic, operational and design-related quality risks.
- Promote proactive corrective actions and risk-based thinking throughout the QMS.
- Champion a strong Total Quality and compliance culture across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Approximately 1015+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems, Quality Systems, Quality Assurance or Compliance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience in corporate, regional or global QMS governance across multiple sites.
- Hands-on experience managing ISO certifications, internal/external audits and CAPA systems.
- Demonstrated experience driving QMS transformation, standardisation and cross-site harmonisation.
- Strong knowledge of quality and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA and Lean Six Sigma.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Quality and Operations teams.
- Experience working within a global or multinational manufacturing organisation will be highly advantageous
- Candidates with broader experience and proven leadership in global or multi-site QMS may be considered for a Senior Manager position.
