[What the role is]
To develop and organise programmes in collaboration with both community and corporate partners aligned with CDC's mission to Aggregate needs and resources, Build capability and capacity in partners & networks, Connect communities to nurture a vibrant and self reliant community.
[What you will be working on]
- Engage in research, needs assessments and gather data to build institutional knowledge to enhance effectiveness of our community projects.
- Network, coordinate, develop and execute district level SE CDC community projects and cross-sector programmes with corporates and community partners such as grassroots organisations, social purpose entities (SPEs), schools, government agencies and non-government organisations, to achieve set targets and objectives of the PA/CDC.
- Support SE CDC Committees which includes staffing District Councillors to conceptualise, plan and implement community projects.
- Facilitate communication between Council and Committees, and submit committee progress reports, taking minutes of Council and Committee meetings.
- Ensure work plans and progress on projects are well communicated and updated to council and management at the committee and council meetings.
- Maintain sustainable working relationships with internal colleagues and both community and corporate partners through SE CDC community projects.
- Work closely with Manager/Assistant Manager in the Organisational Excellence department to ensure projects/functions are covered adequately by the media and other publicity channels.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to projects organised by PA Headquarters.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance in line with the Government/ PA/CDC policy and guidelines, i.e. Procurement, Projects Staff Manual, PA Staff Manual etc.

Knowledge & Skills
- Significant extracurricular involvement and/or held leadership positions
- At least 2 years of relevant knowledge or working experience with volunteer management/youth engagement/community activities/social work sector
- Knowledge of 2nd language (e.g. Mandarin, Malay, Tamil or dialects)
