Functional (Job Responsibilities)
- Analyze user requirement and engage users from Business Units, Operations and IT to understand their requirements and functional specification and build test scenarios/ test cases based on the functional specifications for the assigned applications to support the Singapore branch.
- Bridge the gap between business and IT Application team in terms of understanding the project impacts on various applications.
- Prepare test scenarios and test cases with traceability matrix to ensure testing cover all function points documented in Functional Specification Document.
- Provide UAT support and coordination with the UAT testers to ensure successful completion of UAT.
- Handle clarifications and resolve conflicting defects with respect to Functional Specification Document.
- Work with IT Application team to document application manual and training materials for the application.
- Advise business users on parameter configuration and impact analysis on products setup/change requests.
- Provide first level application support and health check activities during project rollout and transition to BAU teams for continually.
- Be able to provide support for the analysis of production issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Define and ensure quality control of the production system.
- Post project live support, CR, impact analysis and implementation support.
- Support the management and monitoring of the IT Financials, including the raising of request in the procurement system for technology.
Specific Access Matrix Testing Focus
- Identification and documentation of test steps, as well as testing on them, for access related topics.
- Ensuring the information are segregated to the right groups and roles, in which testing IDs that are assigned to these groups and roles should only see what is permitted.
- Workflow task items with different severity and criteria having different levels involved are tested to ensure that these are routed to the right testing IDs based on the groups and roles defined.
- Document down the test results (pass/fail) with screenshots on the test steps performed.
- Participate with the testing team on a fix identification on the defects, as well as any other additional test scenarios and steps required if the existing test scenarios is not sufficient to completely test the topics.
- Working with the respective project personnel on applying the fix and retesting of the relevant scenario to ensure that it is fixed as a final result.
- Tracking of test status and defects with follow ups to the relevant project personnel to ensure that testing are on track.
- Point of contact for reporting of test status as well as any defects found to the testing team.
