Job Description

  1. Own SAP spares and RMA processes, ensure inventory accuracy, system integration, discrepancy resolution, and segregation of warranty and consignment stock.
  2. Oversee RMA flows, ensure timely repairs and shipments, manage authorizations, reduce turnaround time, and coordinate with Quality and Engineering.
  3. Lead global shipment planning, ensure packaging and compliance standards, manage carrier performance, and execute contingency plans for critical escalations.
  4. Manage spares procurement, negotiate supplier terms, monitor performance, ensure compliance, and align purchasing with inventory and RMA demand planning.
  5. Ensure import/export compliance, manage customs documentation, monitor regulatory changes, and proactively resolve shipment delays and freight issues.
  6. Generate reports on repairs, shipping, and procurement, present to leadership, and ensure audit readiness, controls, and inventory compliance.
  7. Lead and develop logistics, compliance, purchasing, and SAP teams, conduct performance reviews, implement cross-training, and promote accountability and operational excellence.
  8. Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by superior.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or inventory leadership roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP systems, transport management systems, and Excel/reporting skills.
  • Strong background in negotiating carrier rates, service agreements, and vendor contracts. Skilled in supplier performance evaluations and cost optimization strategies.
  • Ability to interpret shipping and purchasing data, identify trends, and craft solutions that balance cost, speed, and reliability.
  • Experience managing a cross-functional logistics and purchasing team, communicating in multinational environments, and reporting to senior leadership. Capacity to champion teamwork, delegate effectively, and empower team members.
  • Skilled at handling urgent freight requests, shifting priorities, and complex regulatory environments. Capable of thriving under tight deadlines and urgent operational demands.
