[What the role is]
As Manager (Partnerships and Programmes) , you will support Central Singapore CDC's Better Life Model by developing and managing community programmes under the Service to Others pillar, including leading the GiraffeSG@Central project to drive community giving through donations management, grants administration, and volunteer recruitment. The role encompasses end-to-end volunteer programme management — from recruitment and onboarding to engagement and retention — alongside building and sustaining relationships with Corporate Partners, Donors, and Grassroots Organisations to promote a culture of giving and volunteerism across the District.
[What you will be working on]
- Support Service to Others Pillars under Central Singapore CDC's Better Life Model
- Develop and manage community programmes under the Service to Others pillar of Central Singapore CDC's Better Life Model, including overseeing cash and in-kind donations, co-curating funding programmes, and creating meaningful volunteering opportunities with external partners.
- Lead and oversee the GiraffeSG@Central project, driving efforts to encourage community members to contribute to the common good through campaign and publicity management, grants administration, donations management, and volunteer recruitment.
- Supports CDC's Mandate on District Volunteerism - Volunteer Recruitment, Engagement & Programme Management
- Manage the end-to-end volunteer programme, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention of volunteers.
- Develop and maintain volunteer databases, track volunteer hours, and ensure accurate records are kept at all times.
- Coordinate and facilitate volunteer orientations, briefings, and training sessions to ensure volunteers are well-prepared and equipped for their roles.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteer leaders to strengthen the volunteer network
- Plan and execute volunteer engagement activities and appreciation initiatives to foster a strong sense of community and recognise volunteer contributions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, addressing queries and providing support throughout their volunteering journey.
- Assist in developing and reviewing volunteer management policies and processes to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
- Prepare regular reports on volunteer statistics and programme outcomes to support organisational planning and reporting needs.
- Corporate Partnerships, Outreach & Programme Development
- Co-develop and review outreach strategies targeting Corporate Partners and Donors to promote a culture of giving and volunteerism within the Central Singapore District.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with Corporate Partners, Donors, Grassroots Organisations, and other relevant stakeholders to achieve desired programme outcomes.
- Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale signature programmes, events, and national-level initiatives at the District level.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation to ensure optimal utilisation of resources in meeting programme outcomes and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of corporate partner engagements, including donations, partnerships, and other collaborations.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Network Development
- Work closely with Assistant Director to develop and expand networks with external stakeholders and partners, fostering strong and sustainable relationships.
- Coordinate recognition efforts to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of partners and District Councillors.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify community gaps and needs, develop joint initiatives, and deliver on programme outcomes.
Other Duties
- Supports Assistant Director in achieving Central Singapore CDC-wide initiatives and outcomes.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned beyond the scope of main responsibilities.
- Participate actively in cross-team building initiatives, cross-functional collaborations, and inter-division projects.

Experience
- Desired - At least 2 years of relevant working experience relevant fields
Others
- Relevant experience in managing corporate partnerships and/or managing donor-funded community programmes.
- Prior experience in volunteer management, grant management and/or secretariat work will be advantageous.
- Excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in a second language (e.g., Chinese, Malay or Tamil) will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
