Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead multi-site kitchen operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and the consistent delivery of safe, high-quality meals. This role plays a critical part in driving performance, strengthening food safety standards, and enhancing service reliability across institutional kitchens.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operations across 2-3 institutional kitchens to achieve production targets and operational efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and workplace safety regulations, including Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and Halal MQ requirements, to maintain compliance and safety standards
  • Conduct internal audits and oversee the timely resolution of compliance gaps to uphold regulatory standards
  • Manage meal production and distribution processes to meet dietary requirements and hygiene standards consistently
  • Standardise and refine SOPs and workflows to improve productivity, quality, and operational consistency
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Optimise manpower deployment to enhance team performance and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture
  • Engage with stakeholders and manage customer feedback to drive service excellence and responsiveness
  • Develop and implement risk management and business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree, preferably in Food & Beverage or a related field
  • Managerial experience in kitchen operations, institutional catering, or large-scale food production
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools to support operational reporting and analysis
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards to guide compliance and best practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage teams and resolve operational challenges
