MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for supervision/inspection oF mechanical equipment refurbishment & repair (where applicable), calibration, etc.

Responsible for assisting the Commissioning Manager with the completion and commissioning procedures and documentation, including Mechanical completion activities. Responsible for equipment installation & field testing. Assist with preparing the procurement specifications of various Machinery and generating spare parts requisitions, for the marine equipment.

Assisting in ensuring the preservation of equipment till they are commissioned, including preparation of necessary preservation verification records.Responsible for equipment mechanical completion and handover to commissioning.Review of manufacturing data book (Mech. Eqpt.) supplied by contractors and vendors to check compliance with project standards.

Daily reporting to Project Manager on progress for the day, and providing input into the Daily, weekly and monthly reports for all Mechanical activities. Follow up with contractors and vendors for close out of NCRs and punch list. Perform other duties as instructed by project manager.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
5 Years of experience in similar nature of work, on FPSO/FSO conversion project, with Shipyard on-site work. Good familiarity with Class, Marine, Flag State and international codes, rules regulations required.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT

Degree in Marine Engineering, (Chief Engineers Sailing experience preferred.)
