This role contributes to Group Insurance business role through acquisition of new business through the broking/direct channel.
- Prospecting and marketing Group Insurance solution and services to distribution channel partners
- Develop distribution channel value proposition and engagement activities to increase sales opportunities.
- Ability to work as a field business underwriter on risk assessment and management
- Establish and maintain strong business relationship with channel partners
- Ensure services level commitments to channel partners and clients are meet. KPIs for service level are incorporate in performance review.
- Require to contribute to product development and services review to ensure GE offerings remains competitive
- Require to coordinate and work with internal stakeholders on placement of new policies, claims management and credit control governance.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
- Tertiary degree or diploma or equivalent industry qualifications;
- Minimum 3 years working experience in the Employee Benefits / Group Insurance field;
- Possess M9, M5 & Health Insurance qualification;
- Strong knowledge of Life and Health insurance landscape
- Dynamic and driven to achieve business targets; and
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
