About the Role

Agrocorp International is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Mergers & Acquisitions Manager to support the company's strategic growth initiatives globally. This role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisition, partnership, and strategic investment opportunities across Agrocorp's global footprint.

The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership, regional business teams, and external advisors to originate and assess opportunities that strengthen Agrocorp's presence in key markets, enhance value chains, and support long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Opportunity Identification

Identify potential M&A, joint venture, and strategic investment opportunities across Agrocorp's business segments and geographies.

Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential targets aligned with the company's strategic priorities.

Build relationships with investment banks, advisors, founders, and industry stakeholders to source proprietary deal opportunities.

Strategic Analysis & Deal Evaluation

Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify consolidation and expansion opportunities.

Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment assessments for potential transactions.

Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior management and the board.

Transaction Execution

Support end-to-end deal execution including due diligence, negotiation support, and transaction structuring.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders including finance, legal, tax, operations, and regional teams during transaction processes.

Work with external advisors such as investment banks, consultants, and legal firms.

Post-Merger Integration

Support integration planning and implementation following acquisitions.

Track performance against deal assumptions and value creation targets.

Strategic Insights

Provide leadership with insights on industry consolidation trends, competitor activities, and emerging investment opportunities.

Contribute to long-term corporate strategy discussions.

Requirements

7–12 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategic consulting.

Strong financial analysis and valuation skills.

Experience in cross-border transactions is highly desirable.

Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience in the agriculture, commodities trading, food ingredients, or supply chain sectors would be an advantage.
