DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Role & Accountability Description)
Media Rights Implementation
- Manage the delivery and implementation of media rights agreements across assigned territories.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including IOC commercial and broadcast guidelines.
- Liaise with internal teams to monitor rights performance and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between Infront Pan Asia and media rights holders in the region.
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with broadcasters, OTT platforms, and media partners.
- Provide guidance and support to media rights holders to maximize the value of their Olympic coverage.
- Manage reporting obligations according to the deadlines set by the IOC.
Event Coordination and Broadcast Operations
- Coordinate with broadcasters and production teams to deliver seamless and high-quality coverage of Olympic events.
- Ensure technical and operational requirements are met across all platforms.
- Provide on-site support during key events to address challenges and ensure successful execution.
Compliance Oversight
- Ensure that all broadcast sponsorship and advertising activities comply with IOC commercial guidelines and exclusivity agreements.
- Review and approve promotional materials and advertising campaigns associated with Olympic programming.
Market Analysis and Strategic Insights
- Conduct analysis of the broadcast landscape in Asian markets to identify opportunities and address challenges.
- Share market intelligence with internal teams to refine strategies and enhance audience engagement.
- Leverage insights to guide media rights holders on trends and innovations in sports broadcasting, if required.
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaborate on other projects managed by Infront, contributing expertise and insights to achieve overall company goals.
- Support the media sales team in managing the full media rights portfolio across all Asian markets, including identifying opportunities and streamlining operations.
Minimum Experience Requirements
- Ideally, 5+ years of experience in sports media rights management, broadcast operations, or related fields.
Experience working in large multi-sports international events is highly desirable.
Minimum Education Requirements
First degree (undergraduate) or an advanced vocational qualification
Problem Solving Abilities
- Strong understanding of the broadcast landscape across Asian markets.
- Experience working with international sports bodies also highly desirable.
Job Related/Technical Required Skills
- Leadership and project management capabilities to oversee multiple stakeholders and complex agreements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with expertise in reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance.
Ability to create presentations and reports for the IOC and potentially other commercial partners also an advantage.
