About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven individual to join our Global E-Commerce team as a Manager, Marketing Planning & Strategy. This individual contributor role is pivotal in spearheading seller acquisition and brand growth across Southeast Asia. You will be responsible for developing and implementing omnichannel marketing strategies, partnering with internal teams and local agencies, and leveraging analytics to expand our seller base and accelerate onboarding region-wide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research Southeast Asia e-commerce landscapes and competitor dynamics to craft localized, data-driven seller-end marketing strategies.

  • Design and launch integrated campaigns across social media, events, content marketing, and digital advertising to elevate platform awareness among prospective sellers.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage local agencies to execute end-to-end social media, events, and marketing activations that engage and convert potential sellers across Southeast Asia.

  • Promote Walmart Marketplace and its One-Stop Seller Solution by leading lead-generation initiatives, optimizing conversion paths, and delivering strategic guidance that enhances seller onboarding and performance.

  • Leverage expertise in account operations, logistics, advertising platforms, and marketing technologies to deepen sellers mastery of marketplace tools and shorten time-to-live through targeted omnichannel engagement.

  • Align cross-functionally to define business-related goals and seller-acceleration strategies.

  • Partner with Business Development, Category Management, and other stakeholders to ensure measurable success across all marketing channels.

  • Equip Southeast Asia Business Development teams and other partners with regional and tailored resources, playbooks, and messaging to effectively pitch the marketplace solution to both new and existing sellers.

  • Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Business Intelligence partners to build and maintain a full-funnel data-tracking system from traffic acquisition to lead capture, seller launch, and performance monitoring.

  • Continually refine marketing tactics based on real-time analytics.

  • Coordinate and oversee initiatives by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, supporting seller and business needs, setting clear goals, identifying areas for improvement, and fostering adaptability and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in digital marketing, business development, or market expansion, with a demonstrated understanding of Southeast Asia markets.

  • Proven proficiency with Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok (international), Instagram, and other mainstream SEA digital-marketing tools.

  • Strong project-management skills and the ability to deliver results within a matrixed organization.

  • Analytical mindset with the capacity to translate data into actionable optimizations.

  • Fluent in English; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
