Key Responsibilities
- Understudy lift electronics manager and learn about lift repair electronics repair.
- Diagnose and repair faults in lift electronic systems, including control boards, wiring, and
communication modules.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevator electrical and electronic
components.
- Interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to identify issues.
- Test and calibrate sensors, relays, drives, and safety devices, where required.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency / cyclical repair requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve complex system faults.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate service records and technical reports.
- Support modernization and upgrade projects for existing lift systems, where necessary.
- Any other ad-hoc work assigned by manager / supervisor.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related
building services / engineering field, fresh graduates are welcome.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic programming or diagnostic software skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Working Conditions
- May require on-call duties and emergency response.
- Work involves both indoor and on-site building environments.
- Work at heights and in confined spaces.
