Manager, Integrated Strategic Communication (Change Management) - 24 Months Contract

We are looking for a motivated communications professional to join FPG's Group Strategic Communications team as a Manager. This role focuses on Strategic Communications, requiring significant experience in running Change Management initiatives. You will play a critical role in partnering with business leaders to align people, processes, and systems, ensuring complex change narratives are clear, human-centred, and consistent to drive stakeholder understanding and adoption.

You will also support the broader team with the planning and execution of integrated communications campaigns across FPG's impact businesses, ranging from launching new supermarket concepts to kicking off signature programs for FairPrice Foundation.

We need someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can operate independently.

Job Description:

You will be required to/You will be responsible for:

Strategic Communications & Change Management Execution

• Draft, edit, and proofread high-quality communication materials, including talking points, presentations, detailed FAQs, and internal articles for final review by leads.
• Work collaboratively with business leaders and project implementation teams to translate technical changes into clear, human-centered, and consistent narratives.
• Ensure communication touchpoints are aligned with FPG's values (e.g., Growth Mindset in Action).
• Execute and support the implementation of integrated strategic communication plans.

Change Management Execution

• Execute and support the implementation of integrated strategic communication plans for complex, large-scale change management initiatives, as directed by communication and business leads.
• Support the drive for stakeholder understanding and adoption.
• Assist leads in conducting stakeholder analysis and communication needs assessments to inform message tailoring and anticipate resistance points.

Integrated Campaign Support

• Provide hands-on support for the broader Group Strategic Communications team in the planning and execution of integrated communications campaigns across FPG's impact businesses.
• Contribute to high-profile initiatives, such as the launch of new supermarket concepts or the kickoff of signature programs from FPG's philanthropic arm, FairPrice Foundation.
• Ensure consistency in messaging across all corporate functions and business units.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in communications-related fields (e.g., Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business)
• Demonstrable experience in supporting or executing communications for change management initiatives, preferably involving complex organisational or system changes.
• Minimum 5 years of communications work experience, preferably in engaging with and managing media.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders
• Able to function independently and as a team, adaptable, and motivated by shared success
• Be available to work occasional evenings and weekends (with time-off-in-lieu provided)
