The Senior Manager, Institute for Technology Learning will lead the design and implementation of Certis AI workforce capability strategy, enabling the organisation to build AI fluency, adoption, and future-ready skills across all employee segments. Working closely with technology and business stakeholders under the ambit of the AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE). He/she will develop AI learning roadmaps aligned to workforce personas and competencies, cultivate strategic partnerships with industry and academic institutions, and strengthen ITL by establishing an adjunct faculty network.
The ideal candidate is an AI-savvy strategist who can bridge technology and workforce development. He or she is able to engage technical experts and business leaders alike, design future-ready capability strategies, build strategic ecosystems, and establish Certis as a recognised thought leader in AI workforce transformation.
Job Responsibilities
AI Capability Strategy & Fluency
- Develop and continuously refine Certis AI workforce AI fluency and capability framework
- Design AI fluency, upskilling, and reskilling pathways tailored to different workforce personas and leadership levels.
- Identify emerging AI skills and workforce implications, translating these into actionable learning interventions and workforce development plans.
- Establish capability measurement frameworks to track AI readiness, adoption, and workforce impact.
Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with technology providers, AI practitioners, local and global universities, research institutions, consulting firms, government agencies, and industry bodies.
- Identify and bring in leading AI expertise, thought leaders, and learning partners to support Certis capability-building agenda.
- Explore collaboration opportunities involving applied research, executive education, certifications, innovation programmes, and joint capability-building initiatives.
- Represent Certis and CCU at industry forums, conferences, and professional networks.
Thought Leadership
- Work with academia/thought leaders on the development of white papers, case studies, industry insights, and capability reports related to AI workforce transformation.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to document emerging practices and position Certis as a leader in AI-enabled workforce development.
- Develop frameworks, methodologies, and intellectual property that strengthen CCU's credibility within the industry.
- Stay abreast of global AI trends, regulatory developments, and workforce transformation practices, translating insights into strategic recommendations.
AI Learning Solutions & Programme Development
- Lead the design and curation of AI learning programmes, academies, certifications, workshops, and experiential learning initiatives.
- Partner with AI specialists, data scientists, technology teams, and external subject matter experts to develop high-impact learning solutions.
- Ensure learning content remains relevant to evolving AI technologies, industry practices, and business requirements.
- Drive innovative learning approaches, including AI-enabled learning, simulations, use-case-based learning, and workplace application projects.
Stakeholder Management & Influence
- Engage senior business leaders to understand workforce capability needs and transformation priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on AI capability and workforce development matters.
- Influence stakeholders across business, operations, technology, and HR functions to drive adoption of capability initiatives.
- Present recommendations, insights, and progress updates to senior leadership and governance committees.
Foster a Continuous Learning Culture
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation, including initiatives that encourage bottom‑up innovation and workplace adoption of AI.
- Grow the Certis AI Community of Practice (CoP) to enable social learning and peer knowledge‑sharing, building a pipe-line of AI practitioners and AI Champions.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Degree or equivalent professional experience in AI, Technology, Data Analytics, Learning & Development, Human Resources, Business, Organisational Development, or related disciplines.
- Candidates from non-technical backgrounds are welcome if they can demonstrate strong AI interest, practical use of AI tools or platforms, and experience applying AI to workplace or learning-related use cases. Relevant certifications in AI, Generative AI, Data Analytics, Digital Transformation, Adult Learning, or Learning & Development will be advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in AI, digital transformation, workforce transformation, capability development, consulting, technology strategy, or related fields.
- Experience designing enterprise-wide capability frameworks, competency models, or workforce transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing strategic partnerships with universities, technology providers, government agencies, or industry partners.
- Experience developing executive-level presentations, publications, research papers, or thought leadership content is highly desirable.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, AI governance, and emerging digital technologies.
- Knowledge of workforce capability frameworks, skills taxonomies, and competency design methodologies.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and organisational capability development.
- Strong research, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to develop executive reports, white papers, and thought leadership publications.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in cross-functional and matrixed environments.
