Manager, Health, Safety & Environment (Automotive)

• Permanent position, Salary up to $6,500
• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM Singapore is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve HSE management systems, policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements, including MOM, SCDF, NEA, and LTA regulations
• Perform duties as a registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) in accordance with MOM requirements
• Lead and conduct investigations for incidents, near-misses, and occupational illnesses, including preparation of investigation reports and corrective actions
• Conduct workplace audits, inspections, risk assessments, and ensure timely statutory submissions
• Manage contractor safety programs, medical surveillance activities, and industrial hygiene monitoring initiatives
• Support fire safety management, environmental compliance, and facilities-related HSE activities
• Coordinate safety training programs, employee inductions, emergency drills, and safety awareness campaigns
• Monitor and analyse HSE performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management and Group HSE
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external authorities, and auditors on all HSE-related matters
• Promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Management, or related discipline
• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM Singapore is mandatory
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably within industrial, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, or multi-site environments
• At least 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) legislation and regulatory requirements
• Familiar with risk management, incident investigation, environmental compliance, and contractor management practices
