About Sembcorp

Sembcorp is a leading energy and urban solutions provider headquartered in Singapore. Led by its purpose to drive energy transition, Sembcorp delivers sustainable energy solutions and urban developments by leveraging its sector expertise and global track record.

Purpose & Scope

The Manager, Group FP&A supports the Group's financial planning and analysis while assisting the digitalisation of how FP&A work is done. Beyond core budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, this role is expected to support AI and automation initiatives within FP&A.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive AI and automation initiatives within Group FP&A and, where relevant, across the Group with various teams — identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance reporting, analytics and insights to improve decision-making through improved digital solutions.
  • Lead the streamlining, standardisation and harmonisation of EPM and FP&A processes, reports and analytics.
  • Drive core FP&A activities — annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and flash reporting — and provide insightful analysis of business performance and key drivers to senior management.
  • Partner and manage stakeholders across Group, regional and LOB finance teams to align processes; lead ad hoc analysis and special projects as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Degree in a relevant discipline, with at least 8 years of working experience in FP&A, finance or a related field. An accounting background is advantageous.
  • Strong FP&A experience across budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and business-performance analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and/or systems implementations — ideally finance transformation, EPM (e.g. CCH Tagetik)
  • Exposure to regional / cross-border business, and experience working with regional or LOB finance teams.
  • Prior exposure to EPM consolidation and reporting systems; CCH Tagetik CPM certification and Big 4 finance-transformation experience are a plus.
  • Self-driven and proactive, with ability to work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
