Key Accountabilities
Our investment professionals are responsible for delivering investment outcomes to our clients. They are enabled by many teams including Front Office Services (FOS), which is responsible for operations and support functions.
Ensure independent, risk-based assurance overrule governance and monitoring effectiveness.
- Governance & Standards: Define and maintain regional standards for investment guideline interpretation, rule coding, monitoring and escalation.
- Risk-Based Rule Assurance: Perform risk‑based reviews to ensure the completeness, accuracy and attestation of investment compliance rules.
- Issue, Incidents & Remediation Oversight: Track, challenge and escalate material issues, breaches and audit findings; ensure clear ownership and timely closure.
- Interface with Risk & Audit: Act as the first‑line assurance partner, without duplicating second‑ or third‑line responsibilities.
This Includes
- Guideline interpretation, translation, testing and sign-off.
- Aladdin training assistance.
- Pre & Post trade monitoring process & policy documentation.
- Centralization on rule coding & testing for Eastspring regionally.
- Standardization of rule coding for certain generic rules.
- Identification of opportunities for optimized rule maintenance and enhanced processes and system features.
Experience And Qualifications Required
- Degree in Business, Banking & Finance, Engineering, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience in investment compliance monitoring, with in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. UCITS, MAS, CPF) and Aladdin platform usage.
- Understanding of asset management operations, particularly in investment compliance and risk monitoring frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability in prioritisation, facilitation, and delivery management in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with data analytics tools is an added advantage.
- Technically adept, with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively as a collaborative team player.
- Upholds high professional and ethical standards, with a strong focus on risk control and compliance.
- Performs effectively under pressure and thrives in fast-paced, high-demand environments.
