Job Summary
We are seeking a Manager to support the Regional Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function for APAC Wholesale Banking. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the forecasting and budgeting cycle, financial performance management, and strategic advisory activities. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Business, and Functional teams.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Must have 45 years of relevant experience in FP&A or financial analysis, preferably within banking or financial services;
- Must have strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment;
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) with proven ability to influence business decisions;
- Must have advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint;
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders;
- Self-starter with high energy, strong prioritization skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
Desired Skill-set
- Work experience in banking industry;
- Knowledge of Excel Macros, Power BI, and Python.
Responsibilities
- Support the forecasting and budgeting process for APAC Wholesale Bank;
- Consolidate financial inputs from businesses and functions;
- Deliver monthly and quarterly financial performance analysis and reporting;
- Perform end-to-end data extraction, cleansing, consolidation, validation, and upload;
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of BAU management information (MI) reports;
- Act as a strategic business partner to stakeholders;
- Independently identify performance improvement opportunities;
- Prepare structured financial analyses and present insights to senior management;
- Participate in finance innovation and process improvement initiatives;
- Standardize and streamline FP&A processes across Asia;
- Improve management information quality, automation, and reporting efficiency.
