Manager (Financial Accounting)

What You'll Do

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting activities of Holdco and other entities under the group accounting team
• Capex Business Partnering with business users for accuracy and completeness of fixed asset accounting
• Perform monthly/yearly closing of accounts and prepare annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies, regulations and internal controls
• Preparation and submission of forecast and budget plans
• Reviewing of all income tax and GST submissions and deferred tax computations
• Meet and comply with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, including audits and GST filing
• Review and identify opportunities to improve existing business processes and internal controls
• Managing, mentoring and motivating a team of staff including their staff development
• Undertake group-wide or department projects on an ad-hoc basis

What You'll Need:

• Degree in Accountancy
• At least 8 years of relevant work experience and having started in a Big 4 firm is a plus
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in SAP, BPC and Microsoft Applications (Excel and Power point)
• Proactive and hands-on team player and with an eye for details
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage different stakeholders
